THE BEARDED

AUGUST 1

The Bearded are an old-time string band with brand new songs from East Tennessee. They specialize in traditional dance, old-time, bluegrass, jug, and blues music. Also, a sundry collection of original songs and contemporary favorites round out their infectious and upbeat sound. The Bearded have performed on stage with The Carolina Chocolate Drops and Dom Flemons. As well as openers for bands like The Reel Time Travelers and The Steel Drivers.

VADEN LANDERS

AUGUST 2

Vaden Landers is an Eastern Tennessee artist weaving a tapestry of melodies that harken back ​to country music’s golden era. Vaden’s journey began ​as a train-hopping troubadour and street busker, crafting ​songs that resonate with the very soul of Americana. Affectionately dubbed “The Yodeling Country Bluesman,” ​Vaden has etched his name into the vibrant streets of ​Asheville, North Carolina. With an eclectic fusion of honky-tonk, rockabilly, folk, blues, ragtime, ​jazz, western swing, and old-time Appalachian influences, Vaden ​Landers emerges as a pioneer breathing new life into the traditional ​country music scene. His performances at various music festivals, ​including the illustrious WoodyFest and the renowned Bristol Rhythm ​& Roots Reunion, have enraptured audiences.

Mike McGill and the Refills

Mike has roots in honky-tonk, and rock and roll. By age 12, Mike McGill was on stage in front of big audiences. He grew up singing old-time gospel songs and old-school, classic country, and bluegrass. He was influenced by Hank Williams, Bill Monroe, and Willie Nelson to harness his musical prowess.

LOW GAP

AUGUST 8

Low Gap is primed to take the Country Music world by storm. Brothers Gus and Phin Johnson are relatively young musicians but are already making an impact with their authentic writing and catchy tunes. With roots in Eastern Kentucky and Southeastern Ohio, Gus and Phin grew up listening to Bluegrass and Americana music. That—combined with Folk, Country, and Classic and Southern Rock—creates the unique tone that has become the duo’s signature sound. Gus wrote his first song at 13 years old, and only months later wrote “Mockingbird,” their biggest hit, which was ranked second on Grady Smith’s list of “non-hit singles” for 2022. The brothers backed the success of “Mockingbird” up with a self-titled album full of passion and relatability. In July of 2024, Low Gap was featured in Rolling Stone, Holler, and multiple other notable publications after releasing their single, “Waves,” which was written with the late great Keith Gattis. Low Gap is currently finishing up a 12-song album set to release in 2025.

Russell Walker

AUGUST 15

Russell Walker is a singer/songwriter and honky-tonker with a voice made for late nights and neon lights. Whether he’s belting out heartfelt originals or putting his spin on classic covers, Russell keeps the dance floor alive and Two Steppin’ somewhere close.

THE TRUSTY HUCKSTERS

AUGUST 22

The Trusty Hucksters come from North Carolina, New England, Florida, the far reaches of the universe, and maybe…from under your bed. They slink out, they beam down, bringing you that tasty Tango from Tartarus, that Swing Jazz from Alcatraz, and that Mambo from below. Toss in another dollar for Vaudeville from the hills and a Rock and Roll Rigamarole you won’t find at the local market.

BIG PINK

AUGUST 23

Big Pink is a Knoxville-based band that plays music by The Band, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and more. Come out for what is sure to be an action-packed night!

MUDBUG STOMPERS

AUGUST 29

Stomping and swinging for your listening and dancing pleasure, the Mudbug Stompers bring you the sounds of old-time jug bands, blues, traditional jazz, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. The band was formed by busking on the streets of Nashville, TN, in March of 2022.
